Cursive Handwriting

Sometimes I'll use cursive.
Sometimes I'll use print.

Usually, though, I use print.

i went to a crazy strict catholic school and instead of teaching us print in kidergarted/1st grade we learned cursive....... n its been stuck in my head to write cursive the nuns would hit is with rulers if we didnt write cursive now im a senior in a public highschool and all my teachers compliment myt handwriting a couple of my english teachers made fun of me cuz they thought it was funny that a 16 year old guy would have nice cursive hand writing

When we do peer editing in English, most of my friends are never able to read my cursive. The ones who can say that my handwriting's nice (for a guy), but it's still difficult. I love using cursive not only because I'm used to it, but also because 1. it's less common 2. it looks more mature 3. it's faster for me.

Print always. I'm much faster and my cursive is absolutely illegible if I don't spend a ridiculous amount of time on it. I sign my name in cursive though.

I hate reading things in cursive but love writing in it LOL

Who has the best cursive here? Post pics of sample writing! :)

i used to write in cursive since I was in 2nd grade, so it was like my 1st & 1/2 language for me

but i stopped in 8th cuz of legibility. I still USE it though, but I have a bad habit of putting in cursive g's or a's, etc in my print.

I was forced to write in cursive in fifth and sixth grade (fifth grade it was on everything, sixth grade only on projects/tests/essays), with my teachers telling us that once we got to middle school all of our teachers would expect cursive from us on everything. Never happened. Pretty much everyone switched back to print once we got to middle school.

My cursive is messy and gross so I never use it. My print is not much better, but it's better than my cursive.

Use what's confortable for you! For example, some of my letters are cursive, and others are print (mostly the capitals and some stranger letters like z), but they're all conjoined in some shape or fashion, haha. I was trained in cursive from the age of 6 to 12 (private school), so that's what I'm used to.

i used to write in cursive but now i just write in print
my handwriting was a mess in cursive and a few others (who have worse) and myself were only able to read it
my print is pretty bad too but oh well, it's more legible than cursive
