I was accepted at CWRU on a scholarship. I am currently in the British AS-level course, in which the exam results will not be released until mid-August, so I had sent in predicted grades for each subject examination. Could CWRU withdraw their offer of admission if I had not achieved the predicted grades? I am a bit confused because classes at CWRU would begin on August 29th, which is a bit too close to the date that my AS-level grades will be released on.
People hear can speculate but you will get the best answer by checking with your admissions counselor or the financial office at CWRU.
Congratulations on your acceptance.
Generally, if you have taken 5 AS level subjects and you meet the predicted grades should be near actual grades. My son too has completed AICE Diploma with distinction. All the AS level grades were predicted A and 3 A levels were predicted A. All of those grades were predicted by his school and not him based on his past academic performance. He could achieve all A’s at AS level accept one and all A accept one at A levels. But just missed the A narrowly. So it should not matter as long as you are near the predicted grades. He will be attending CASE from fall 2016. He was also accepted with a very good scholarship
