Incoming freshman here. What laptop specifications do you recommend in getting for engineering? Will the CWRU IT/bookstore support it when there is a problem? How about loaner if the laptop isn’t working?
Thanks!

Technicians are available on-campus to assist CWRU faculty, staff and students with computer maintenance and repairs. Computers under warranty from Dell, Apple or HP can have all repairs and maintenance performed on-campus.
My son got last year’s Dell and it already has a processor problem, its running 5X slower than our five year old Macbook Pro. Dell may replace the mother board, still talking to them, and doing test after test to show how slow this processor is running. The Macs are more reliable than Dell, but HP is very reliable as well for those that want Windows.
