CWRU or OSU or Allegheny?

So I've been having a incredibly tough time deciding on a college. I've got it down to Case Western Reserve University, Allegheny College and The Ohio State University, but I just can't seem to decide on one, so I thought I'd ask for some help.

Btw, I'm leaning towards Nursing, but I'm not 100% set on it

My favorite of the schools is Allegheny but it only offers a 3-4 program for Nursing which results in a Doctorate and the school it is partnered with is Case. It would make more sense just to go to Case, but I liked the school a lot less. Also Allegheny is offering me a spot on the cross country whereas at Case I would have to walk on. I don't even know for sure if I want to be a Nurse, so I'm hesitant just to choose Case because it has a good Nursing program.
Also OSU is in there because they offered me a lot of money, I liked the school,I'd be in the Honors program and they would have any program I would want to pursue.

Do I go for the school I genuinely like more or the school that has the one area that I might want to pursue?!

“OSU is in there because they offered me a lot of money, I liked the school,I’d be in the Honors program and they would have any program I would want to pursue.”

$$$

Ohio State Honors Program

OSU offers nearly 200 majors! lol

1-billion $ Medical Campus / Hospital upgrade set to be completed w/in the next 3 years.

Even though CWRU affiliated Cleveland Clinic - Nursing Program is also top-notched, with all the above factors in, I would suggest OSU + 1. But, that’s just me! You should go wherever makese you happy the next 4 years or so if that means Allegheny.

Go Bucks! lol

If you’re undecided, Allegheny is a great place to go! They have so many different classes, and all of them are really interesting.

Have you shadowed a nurse? There is still time to do this before you have to decide on a school. If you really are leaning toward nursing, go to a college that has a nursing school.

Ask Allegheny how many people leave after their third year to be in the 3-4 Nursing program. Hardly any, I bet. Allegheny is a nice school; kids who are there want to stay for their fourth year and graduate.

Go with OSU or Case if you want nursing as an option.

*You know, if you are a freshman in OSU honors, you get to register for class before non honors juniors and seniors. OSU honors is great. (Then again, at Case, you can keep a rabbit as a pet in your dorm room…) *

Because of the nursing major, I would choose Case due to its close ties to top hospitals. But another thing to consider is that if you decide that nursing is no longer a field that you want to pursue, you can change your major quite smoothly. For example, a friend of mine went from being a psychology major one semester to a biomedical engineering major the next semester. Really all he needed to do was fill out a half sheet form declaring a major change and that’s it! But truly, if you visited CWRU already and you didn’t enjoy it, don’t go. Don’t go somewhere if it doesn’t feel like a good fit for you.
