D and concerto competition

<p>Just wanted to share some of D’s good news. She participated in a concerto competition sponsored by our local youth orchestra this past Saturday. She was the woodwind winner! There was also a string winner.</p>

<p>She will get to play her concerto (Chaminade Concertino for flute) as a soloist at the orchestra concert on March 6.</p>

<p>I had to go update her application for the February UA Honor Band with this information. :)</p>
