DaleBarton Vs Newark Academy vs Pingery

MrQWERTYQWERT seems very vested in NA. Either he works for the school or has a kid there. Anyone want to bet against me?

You seem to be correct. Washington Post Ranking has no. 2 as Elizabeth High School after NA which seems to be odd ranking. Also, one has to realize that not all school send their data to everywhere.

Though I do agree that NA is good school.

I have a kid at NA.

A lot of students at Pingry take AP exams without taking the course and get 4 or 5.

^ that’s an exaggeration or saying you don’t need Pingry to get an education as measured by the AP tests.

Why would you say it is an exaggeration? Do you know Pingry’s curriculum? How many APs a school offers doesn’t measure how challenging a school is.

Newark academy and Pingry are the most transparent about its students academic performance. Go to the college counseling website section of both schools and see what juniors are doing academically. Newark calls it high school profile and Pingry calls it college profile.

You will see

1). Classes taken by juniors
2). Grade distribution for each class
3). SAT subject test performance
4). Pingry also publishes AP results.

It would be very interesting if Kent and Delbarton did the same.
