Hello, everyone. Thank you for taking your time to read this! I am an international student planning to transfer to Northeastern University to get my BS degree in Business. I realized that there are two business colleges which are D’Amore McKim and College of Professional Studies to get my degree. And I noticed that two obvious difference among them are the tuition and requirements. D’Amore McKim is more expensive and has more requirements to transfer in and seems like it has higher standard compared to College of Professional Studies.
Here are my quick stats:
Graduated from Seattle Central College
GPA: 3.87
No IELTS/SAT/ACT
Work at least 20 hours/week for two years
Volunteered at school
PTK Member
But I don’t know much about the program and would really like to get some feedback from someone who has been in D’Amore McKim/CPS or is currently in it now.
Since tuition is significantly different, does D’Amore McKim has a higher value of the degree? What’s about co-op opportunities and jobs after graduation. Are the professors good and knowledgeable?
Some of my questions are very specific, but even if you don’t know the answers to them I would still love to hear about your experience studying in D’Amore McKim/CPS and what you liked/didn’t like about it.
Thank you very much for any comments!
