Hello peopless

So I am planning on pursuing a Sociology major at Emory while following the pre-med track (Yes, I am one of THOSE ones, but please trust me when I say I have a huge passion for the field).

I am starting to consider the possibility of minoring in Dance at Emory. I did gymnastics for several years and trained in Jazz/Ballet when I was younger (before high school). I tapped for two high school spring musicals. I've taken 3 years of Classical Kathak dance and have continuously been involved in Bollywood dancing since I was young. Since high school started, I've taken a keen interest in Bhangra. I really just love dancing...all kinds of it.

If it isn't already sort of evident, I'm definitely interested in the diversity of dance forms. I am a pretty coordinated person, I can pick up stuff quickly (like tap for the Spring Musicals I performed in high school)

So...does anyone know about the dance program at Emory? I'm I totally underestimating a dancer's commitment at Emory?
