Hello I applied ED and got deferred. My fafsa and CSS say late October dates but everything else says late February with like two forms having 3/3 dates. I know this most likely means absolutely nothing, but was wondering did this in the past correlate with acceptance?
Does anyone have missing financial aid documents that they have been contacted to for? Does having missing documents out the decision in jeopardy?
@wishfulthinking7 for one of the schools I was accepted to, they emailed me and let me know that I apparently had missing FA docs after I was accepted I think it depends on the school tbh
Hey guys, its almost IVY DAY AHHHH! Just wanted to pop in and say good luck to everyone! Everything happens for a reason, whether you’re accepted, wait listed, or rejected. Don’t let this one college decision, or rather any college decisions, tell you what your true potential is!
P.S: Any accepted or “on the fence” QuestBridge applicants PLEASE PM ME! I matched last December and our '24 QuestBridge GC is very eager to meet all of yall!
@infinitystar4 @budgie12 Not all FA doc “received” dates have same meaning. Depends on original “received” date. FA docs filed complete and on time and in the Fall, say Oct/Nov/Dec, later updated with new “received” dates in Feb/Mar, have correlation with acceptance. FA docs filed late, say Jan/Feb, have Jan/Feb “received” dates because that’s when they were originally filed!!! Same for missing FA docs late-filed in Feb/Mar. Harder to read late-filed FA docs.
I have started a thread for Ivy Day decisions (no stats)…
@MaybeIvy2020 Hey! I remember you were in the QuestBridge discord. I had a few questions, do you mind rejoining the discord? I would also like to join the QB '24 chat. I don’t know how to PM you on this site.
@MaybeIvy2020 Questie here!! I am so nervous… but if it doesn’t work out I have a great second choice already. Good luck to you!
If anyone is super anxious, I suggest looking over your application and seeing how good it is! You took your best shot and everything will work out and you will end up where you are supposed to be : )
Or just bite your nails…that works for me.
does anyone know what the acceptance rate for females in engineering is?
Not sure of the exact rate, but I would assume its higher than males.
gl broski, lmk how it goes:)
I am in the discord already, I have PMed you my username. You should see a notification somewhere on the top left corner if you’re on a computer.
Almost t-minus 2 hours here… ahhh! How’s everyone doing?
It is 2:30 am here and I have to stay awake for 2 more hours. Hopefully, it’ll be worth it!
Dartmouth ‘23 here — good luck to all and please please remember that school decisions do not determine your life! Dartmouth was far from my first choice but I absolutely love it here now! have faith things will work out and make the most of wherever you end up
my heart is beating so fast… come from a pretty competitive public HS but dartmouth only takes 0-1 from here…
They’re out
