Dartmouth class of 2010 ED Roster

Hey everyone. I'm an EDer.

Heart pounding...can't breathe....December 15th should get here quick or I might be in a coma.

Overstatement? Yes. Validity? You betcha.

Good luck everyone!

Aw you guys are such a great ED bunch! Good luck everyone, I really hope it works out for you!

my son just told me he has scheduled his interview. wondering what he should wear....any ideas?

is it an alumni interview? i had one last week, and I would say business casual (polo and khaki) would be fine, as my interviewers were in jeans and it was held at someone's house. But, being more dressed up wouldn't hurt. I’m a girl so it's a little different, but I wore nice black pants and a blazer and I felt that I was dressed appropriately.

i just got notified for my interview today. I think i am going to be wearing a button-down shirt, wool jacket, and khaki pants. Now i just need to go buy some shoes...

I applied early decision on Oct. 30th... I think I have a decent shot, we'll see

good luck y'all

I LOVE DARTMOUTH.

Sigh. Who's with me? Say it loud, and say it proud:
I LOVE DARTMOUTH.

Oh boy. I'm going to be really disappointed if I get rejected (which is almost a gaurentee in my case). I'll live, but I just may go into hibernation for a few days.

good luck to all my D is waiting with bated breath has the calendar marked down to the 15th. i hope that all of you get in and my D too.

enzo,

You don't have to wear a button down shirt and jacket (especially if it makes you uncomfortable). Mishy is correct, buisness casual is good. (emphasis on neat and clean)

thanks for the tips. he is as comfortable in a suit and tie as he is in jeans and a sweatshirt! somewhere in-between will probably be just fine, thanks again for the tips!

sybbie, thanks for the tip. Its like a casual wool jacket and a weekend button down that is part of my everyday school/going out wardrobe. haha...i am preppy. I mean, I am not going to go in there with a gray t-shirt and a fleece.

I have my interview tomorrow! I'm definitely excited. I'm planning on just wearing these nice new pants and a sweater, maybe with collared shirt underneath but probably not.

I keep daydreaming about getting that fat envelope with a congratulations and a large financial aid package.

Oh, if only dreams would become reality.

kara...i heard from somewhere that acceptance letters are in small envelopes too.

Can you imagine if you got a big envelope and it was a rejection letter?

I'm one to follow directions, so peach3s...I LOOOOOOOVE DARTMOUTH!

Did anyone else notice that in all of those "Seventeen" and "CosmoGirl" magazines that target teenage girls, nearly every astrological sign had a "good luck day" on December 15th?

Weird...

did you ever notice that horiscopes lie? They have never come true for me....NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

enzo--

1) I don't know your gender. If you're not a 17-year-old girl who's addicted to commercial garbage magazines, you're in the clear.

2) If for some reason you ARE the above description, don't sweat it. I've seen your posts here and there. Wishful thinking is always better than a pessimistic poopy attitude. I know it sounds dumb, but "turn that frown upside down!"

enzo--

Looked through your posts. You're an asian male. WHY would you worry about what Seventeen magazine has in store for you on December 15th? I'm sure they would also tell you "a boy is going to ask you out on the 4th" or "your nail polish will chip on the 19th."

Stop freaking us all out! :)

guys do you have a problem with login in to the dartmouth banner student. I cant seem to log in even though I have received my pin number.

everything is working fine for me! did you remember to select "Banner Authentication" when you're signing in?

yes i did. They said there is a problem with my browser. What do I need in order to open it
