Dartmouth Class of 2019 Early Decision

@jessicalyu I really hope it’s the first possibility, since the second possibility shouldn’t happen because they most likely have made all the decisions already.

These are computer generated emails. Everyone’s email is sent at the same time regardless of admission status. The difference in receipt of the email is based on your email service. You guys are reading WAY too much into this.

Everyone, relax. The admission counselors send out emails based on region or even states as well. I got an email to notify me of decisions (from a different school) and my email was a different time than a friend from a different state as we had different counselors. They also send out different times to avoid blast emails that servers recognize as spam. Deep breaths….

Alpha theory clearly incorrect. Who knows how the batches were sorted.

@bsalum‌ so are you saying that the batches of emails might be sorted based on a specific guidelines and you think what the post is saying above you is incorrect?

I’m seeing all of em go out at the same time: factor in time changes. I’m in San Diego and received mine at 1:52 meaning that it was sent from the east coast at 4:52. Apart from
The one that was an outlier among us, there seems to be no difference.

It’s been three hours and I still don’t have one. Anyone else have yahoo for email?

@AllyZieMage‌ I have yahoo and I got mine in the spam on 5:27

@An1100345‌ thanks. Found it  crisis averted.

@AllyZieMage What time was it sent?

4:52, like the others

If anyone’s submitted a slideroom portfolio, does it show up in the list of stuff in your application manager?

@zak1212 I did and It didnt show up there

@AN1100345 No, it sounds like they weren’t sorted in batches. Probably mailed out at the same time after all.

@bsalum I guess I am the only one who got the mail at a much later time :open_mouth: Could be good or bad.

@bsalum A-levels is pretty common in Nepal, though it costs a lot more to study A-levels than the national curriculum. The colleges claim they know about the rigor of our curriculum. But, I highly doubt that, looking at the acceptances of past few years from Nepal.

I just checked my email. And converting Nepal Standard Time to EST, looks like I got it at 4:52 PM too. What if they sent it to the rejects first??? Last Name: K First Name:A

@cauldroncastle No. Stop. Don’t be like that.

@cauldroncastle‌ tbh, most people got their emails at 4:52 and some of you are really smart. I am just the anomaly.
