Dartmouth Email

I just wanted to be the first to open a thread about the new Dartmouth email (hopefully it's new, at least I received it 2 minutes ago):

"Dear soonadmittedapplicant*,

*Yes, I changed my name :)

Didn't receive it, weird.

I didn't get it in my inbox, but it was up on my applicant status page thing. It's so exciting/nerve-racking.

received it an hour earlier than dr. avrah... which means there are probly some time differences email distribution
i'm sure everyone will get it sooner or later (:
omg so nervous/excited/butmostlynervous

I just received the e-mail. Like miri said they are probably sending them out in batches.

I received mine this afternoon!

The time on mine is marked 3:40. Last name begins with L. I wonder if they went out alphabetically? Lots of time to come up with theories regarding the order of mailing! lol Monday will not come too soon....:)

Just got mine as well

The emails are backdated, by the way. I got mine 5 minutes ago (I have push email with gmail- instant notification) and it is backdated to 3:36PM.

i just responded to the other thread on this but, is there any possibility that NOT receiving an email is a sign of impending rejection? I understand that there's a possibility that they havent sent it yet to me, but I figure why get the hopes up of all the definite rejects?

Steph747: No, there is really no chance that not receiving this email is a sign of impending rejection. You're really overthinking this. I also got my Princeton email a week or so after the others, but the reason is that they do it by region. Possibly Dartmouth does it, too. Don't worry!

yeah i got mine today

thanks dr avrah

i hope ur right lol

and i hope im not freaking out over nothing
ahhh

ughhh so i haven't gotten this email... I'm definitely hoping it's something done by region

also, i got an email about the decision date from a coach at dmouth... could this have been instead of the one that the rest of you guys got? it was sent around 11 am

Ehh...I know that I haven't turned in my financial aid forms, but they haven't sent me any reminders or anything. Can this be indicative of a coming rejection? I know I got a letter from Wake Forest, and got in there. But Another school didn't tell me they didn't have my forms, and I was rejected.

Hey wolf - what's up, man?
Sucks about Duke, I was rooting for ya...and I'm sure this email means nothing!

I got this email today, but it was a weird version of it. As I'm a recruited athlete, the letter had pictures of Dartmouth's Swim & Dive team. Also, towards it end, it began to talk a bit about it's team, the letter was quite long.

^ so that means something

I just got mine today at 7:59 AM and I live in the midwest.

I hate the line "We appreciate your interest in Dartmouth" because the two rejection letters I have gotten so far have had the same line in them...

got mine today this morning as well.
