Dartmouth Vs Colorado College for a Biology/Pre Dental/Bio Chem Major

Anyone out there with extensive knowledge of both schools? I am wondering if the Internships, and Research projects in terms of quality and quantity would be similar for an undergrad. I would imagine both schools to be equal in terms of percent of of students getting into dental and medical school. I would imagine that unless Engineering or Business were to be a primary or dual focus, that both schools would be equal. I would imagine the teachers to be equal, but possibly the student body might be a little smarter (as measured by ACT or SAT scores) at Dartmouth. Would any Dartmouth student care to comment on their social life during the weekends? How long is a class period during the D Plan and is it 3 classes one takes during the D Plan?

Any other thoughts, particularly regarding leadership at the 2 schools (and subsequent impact on a student's experience) or Career Services?

Thanks!

BUMP!!! same exact questions for same exact interests!!

A monkey with half a brain would even know to choose the Ivy League school if thinking about grad school placement and teacher quality.

Shoresea I think you’re imagining many incorrect things. If you look at graduate placement results at top schools Dartmouth does better than Colorado College by light years. This really isn’t a choice between comparable caliber schools.

These two colleges are on completely different levels. You shouldn’t even have to be asking this question. I think you know the answer.

Colorado College is a great school, but i agree with those who say it’s no contest.

Agree this is not close to an even comparison - Dartmouth is exceptional. You will have alums leading their fields whether its politics, business, or medicine. Its one of the strongest networks I’ve seen anywhere. Colorado College is a nice school, but not even close to the level of Dartmouth.
