Yesterday’s posts don’t even show a time anymore – just February 3. Older posts don’t even bother with a date and may just show month and year, e.g., February 2013. And I can’t find post numbers at all. Please bring these back. They were so helpful when referring back to prior posts or trying to glean exactly when decisions were rolling in, etc.
And especially NOW. The year changed…and the 2013 posts are the ones with just the month and year. There are still references wanting to be made to prior posts. Impossible to do…no way to quote and no post numbers. Please fix.
Bumping. This has been mentioned in other threads on other forums as well. Can an admin or someone in the know please give an update?
I’m waiting with bated breath. 8-|
Those are a basic message board feature; I sitll don’t understand why they were omitted.
Totally agree. Post numbers really are important for a variety of reasons. I would live to hear the status of THIS fix…and what they plan to do for iPad users and their more than non-existent mobile application for iPad users.
This is still work in progress. Sorry I don’t have a clearer answer, but we will give an update as soon as we have news. Thanks!
@thumper1 - If you pass your mouse over the date, a more detailed date/time stamp appears. Please confirm. We all want the post numbers back. I have no idea why those were eliminated either.
That doesn’t work on my Android.
You can’t hover on an ipad which is what thumper uses.
I guess that is true. I tried on my iPad by holding my finger on the date and that didn’t work. I usually use CC on my laptop.
I’m using an iPad, FC. No mouse, can’t hover.
Yes, @thumper1. I just said that in a post an hour earlier than your post, lol.
Any idea why the post # and time stamp were removed? I guess it really doesn’t matter, I’m just curious.
I agree NH…the post number function SHOULD have been ported over from the old format.
I can’t go into great detail, not because it is so super secret but because I don’t know enough that I probably wouldn’t say something that was just not correct. The bottom line is that this new platform had certain features already built into it and, obviously, some that weren’t. Nobody starts from scratch when having a site that uses message boards. I do know they are working to get them put back, but I have no idea of the time frame involved.
