OVERVIEW

See photos from Admit Weekend 2009»

While we know that a single weekend isn’t long enough for you to experience all of the things that make Stanford so uniquely engaging and fun, we think that you can come really close.

That is our goal for Admit Weekend. We want to bring the Stanford undergraduate experience to life for three days so that you can learn firsthand about everything we have to offer — Stanford’s incredible academic resources, beautiful campus, diverse student body, and much more.
Bringing all this to life during one long weekend obviously takes extensive planning, and that is why nearly 1,500 student volunteers are already working to make your Admit Weekend visit as informative, safe, and enjoyable as possible.

Should you choose to attend Admit Weekend, you will be hosted by a current student in his or her dorm room. Housing is available for three nights — Thursday, April 22; Friday, April 23; and Saturday, April 24 (there are no events scheduled for Sunday, April 25). House Hosts and Room Hosts will be your guides for the weekend to give you a better sense of what life as a Stanford student is truly like. They are eager to share their college experience with you, so we encourage all admitted students to attend (feel free to ask lots of questions, too!), if possible.

Please keep in mind that these alternate dates and arrangements are only available for those students who have indicated that they are unable to attend Admit Weekend. For eligible students, we will provide a maximum of two nights’ accommodation.
