<p>We are expats moving to DC soon. Very very out of the college selection process in the US and pressed for time. What DC/VA/NC/PA colleges/univs does a B student who wants a biology major and a traditional campus have a good chance of getting into??? Pretty clueless.</p>
<p>NC State and UNC Chapel Hill have the best biology and campus life combo in North Carolina. However, UNC-W, App. State, Wake Forest, Davidson, and UNC-G are also very good in biology.</p>
<p>Thanks... but as an OOS B student would she really get into UNC Chapel Hill, for example? Davidson? Wake Forest? Are these matches or reaches? I've read many posts asking the same question about many schools (matches or reaches), so I guess its not easy (don't you all have guidance counselors in the States that are supposed to help with this?). Let me try a different tack. We can make up a list of univs that may be either matches or reaches--we'll never really know until April 1st. But what could we count on as a for-sure safety for backup? Thx.</p>
<p>It would help a tremendous amount if I knew her SAT score; it's hard to find safeties without knowing that.</p>
