DD can graduate in 3 yrs. but...

Have her explore mini study abroad programs (3-6 weeks) affiliated with her college.
Of course it can’t conflict with her sport and training.
She may even have time to do a part time internship.

I think it’s a great opportunity to take classes that she’s interested in or that may benefit her in the future. I have no idea what type of law she’s interested in, but if it’s any type of business law, then I would strongly suggest she take some accounting. If she hasn’t taken deductive logic yet, that would be a great course to take. She’d also benefit from any course that will make her a stronger writer.

If she is on a full ride and wants to stay, might as well let her stay. No guarantee that she will have a job when she graduates. I spent so much of my life rushing through. Now I wish I had taken some time to enjoy something. I was always racing to the next goal. Now I try to explain to my children that after the next goal, there will just be another goal. When does it stop? And what happens if it stops? The journey to these goals are important too.

^thank you for reminding us about enjoying the journey. I also agree with being in the “here and now”.

Beth’s mom - good course suggestions. I will pass them on to D.

Beerme - she is in a study abroad/internship this summer. Her sport is year round so she can’t travel during the school year.
