Would it be too late if I took the SAT 2 Math in December if I want to apply for Regular Decision? I didnt't know it required a math SAT 2 until recently.

I was considering taking the SAT again, but I think it might be too late.

I took the SAT on the 4th, and the scores came out today - that's 3 weeks. The test is on the 6th, so that'd get you the 27th assuming it's the same.

The issue is that it's going to take time for them to send it to CMU.

THE WORST PART:
It's Christmas season. That letter is going to take FOREVER to get there.

I called, you're fine

foxfirebass shoudn't even reply when he 'think's
he obviously doesn't do any research
all colleges are fine with December scores.
Some colleges are ok with January scores
almost no colleges are fine with Feburury scores (Vanderbilt takes Februry)

you can always check on the school's website

Yeah, sorry OP (and jackass), I called and checked and forgot to fix my post. My bad.

I'll do you one better: CMU said they're cool with January.

haha, thanks so much everyone. I think I'll take them in December.

hahaha i took them in dec for ED just as a formality...so they didnt even get them before they let me in...

btw sat II scores can be sent online... this is cmu after all.

Awesome! I was wondering the same thing. But isn't the admissions deadline in January?
How does one make them know that you are planning to take them in January, email?

well they don't start reviewing applications until late january/early february. so chances are by the time they start reviewing your january scores will be there.
