@inshm2016 The passage itself never explains a phenomenon. He is questioning the way we perceive time, and comparing it to what the laws of physics says. The eggs cracking are merely examples of the perception of time, and are in no way a yet to be explained phenomenon.
Note: I am basing the answer based on what you guys said was the question.
The question referred to the beginning of the passage where the author talks about coffees and eggs. And the qustion was something like “why does the author talk about coffee and egg?” The author basically said in the line reference: Eggs splatter but don’t become whole again. Coffee gets mixed but doesn’t “unmix.” So isn’t this a not-yet explained phenomenon?
@selena1111 , they are examples to show the uni-direction of time humans perceive. They are not even a phenomenon to be explained, as they don’t even happen that way.
it was un-explained phenomenon, the phenomenon is the fact that the egg crack and doesnt go back and the coffee mi x and doesnt mix. We really shouldnt care if the author explains it or not
@selena11 ohh i never said that was the question, just merely stating what the eggs and coffee signify…
@Sully99 As my memory of the question is foggy at this point i don’t wish to argue on this point further…For all i know i may have put the answer you said to be correct. Unless we know what the question is, it is futile at this point…
