2170 - not happy with it

^ Ill take it !!!

I've to retake it. i'm looking for some 200 points increase (yes, I'm serious!) For the SAT, I didnt' study a single thing, but for Jan 27's one, I really am going to train myself as good as possible and give a real try!

CR: 740
M: 800
W: 700
2240

I'm only a junior and I'm wondering if I should take it again to improve my writing score (I felt I could have done a lot better). However, I've heard that most colleges do not take the writing score into account during the admissions process but I don't know if this is 100% correct.

Most colleges do not place an emphasis on the writing section of the SAT because it is very new and there isnt enough information (statistical data) as to what constitutes a good score.

800 Math
800 CR
750 Writing (10 essay)

Total: 2350

Much love to all those who answered my questions after the test! I just knew I got an 800 on CR after looking through these forums for days, but the math 800 was a surprise.
