what do you think the curves will look like?

Big curve on reading, I think. Normal for Writing. -1 for math?

it will probably be similar to other tests..
maybe -1 on reading for 800
-1 on math prolly 770
-1 on writing maybe 800 or like 790

that's the curve i'd loved to see!! cuz i expected a harsh one.

What do you think a -3 for reading will be? On the Jan. test last year, the curve was -3 = 800...

-2 800 for oct 2006
ditto oct 05.

how much would 8 omit no wrong be for math?

^^^^
According to my Barron's book, 8 omit with no wrong and no curve would be about 670-680

Do people get every score from like 200 to 800? Like a certain case has to be like 800 and then one lower HAS to be 790? Or do they skip around. Like -1 is 800 and then -2 is 780?

sciencenerd: i don't think so since i got 2 wrong w/ no omit on math and got a 750

how many would u have to get with 0 omit to get atleast a 680 .. or 700

i'd say they'll grade harder for everything. the test was too easy

I don't get the -#...is the lower the number better or the higher the number better? Someone please help explain this.

-#... the # is the # of questions you got wrong.

OK, but if they say the curve is -7 does that mean you could get -7 wrong and get a 800? Or whatever you get right, take 7 off that.

Iildimsum7// thats what i thought in the first place! it was strangely easy for me.
but many people complain that it was too hard.... weird.
may be i bomb it and just think i aced it or something- which is not good lol

I agree that it was fairly easy. Just p*sses me off because I was really shooting for an 800 in math (770 previously with 1 omit 1 wrong) but I again had to omit one this time, but I am quite confident of the rest of math. Any chance -1 = 800? Or even like 780-790?

got a 36 on math first time ACT (but can't send because of 26 in science...), why can't I do it on the SAT??? harumph. :(

Though I haven't heard of a question on CR that I definitively missed, I'm thinking it will end up -2 to -4. What scores do you think that will yield? I got 730 before, was hoping for 770ish. probably won't happen.

I think the curve for CR will probably be an average -2, Math the same, and writing -2 + 12 for 800.

if the curve on CR is -2 for 800...where do you think -6 puts me?

What would -2 or -4 for math be?

I'm not sure exactly how many I got wrong, so the -2 is optimistic, the -4 is probably more realistic.
