yeah i got that too :)

the choises of dickens were very tempting

what does the examples of physics and philosopher used to convey in the artist passage?

Something like certain fields are given more freedom in public opinion. Not remember the words, but this was the idea.

Yay!!! I was debating between that one and other one, and hopefully chose the correct one!!!

Do you guys remember a math problem about phone calls??

PS: It looks like not many international students take the SAT or didn't take just this time only. I see whole bunch of new posts and threads on US SATI.

is it 5.XX I can not recall the exact number

I really messed up the cr section with options on sentence completion questions including felonious, emperical, hypothetical etc

did the disney section, which according to many was experimental, have questions with aforementioned choices and,if not, than what other passage/questions did it have?

i seem to have forgotten all about the disney section save for the fact that there was one, and so would really appreciate if someone sheds light on it

what about the Daughter's laugh was it forced or contagious or irreverent or what? I don't even remember my answer to that question.

i think the laugh was irreverent

I think I chose irreverent too!

yes it was irreverent which is disrespectful. contagious is infectious, ie. tending to spread (like a virus)

The vocabulary section (sentence completion) wasn't hard AT ALL! I couldn't believe I understood every single word! I think I aced the vocab section. Nonetheless, I am pretty sure I got the evocative wrong.. don't really remember what I put down for that one...

And also, I don't know about the something something something
I put down that writer's strength has public disapproval or something

The CR section is so subjective!

For the Token one I read that specific question twice; it doesn't say about having BOTH tokens. (I think it's the second question on the token part.) It just says least. I hope the first question is not continuous to the second one.

So far... -1 CR, -1 M, -0 W (I don't remember any of the writing questions.)

What's the vegetables + nutrient one about?

I got two no errors. There is one about someone reading HER essay at the next meeting or something. That HER is ambiguous. It can sound like that person or another person. And for the nitrogen gas I took out the colon and changed to is. It was a sentence fragment with the colon.

i think the her refered to the director cuz that's the only person mentioned.

argh so far -5 CR (more to come)
-0 M
-1 W

...................T.T

The art passage was totally gay. Hmm... are there any other short passages other than the writer/her friend passage, ignoring the Disney section?

-2~4 CR, -1 M, -1~3 W (expecting a 10~12 on essay)

For the last Q on the art one I think it's individualism flaunts community. That was exactly what the last paragraph was about; it was about novelty (individualism - the author said something about novelty causing individualism or something), and the public hates it.

i agree...

don't remember AT ALL :(

results out the 20th!!!!

in robot question,
do you remember about self-consciousness with poetry?

what was the answer?
1. self-consciousness is vital(not sure) to intelligence process
vs
2. poetry cannot be written if there is no self-consciousness(something like that..)

Actually I didn't read a choice that says poetry cannot be written if there is no self-consciousness, so I chose self-consciousness is vital to intelligence process.

for the calculator sentence completion question what was the answer, vituperative? 'cause I chose anachorism !!

and, how many questions can I get wrong and still have ascore above 600 ( that's my top score !! ^-^)

it was vituperative definitely,,

please tell me anything you remember about sen/com, reading, writing,,
anything~~~

The calculator doesn't have the choice vituperative. It was anachronism. Vituperative is the answer of another question.
Anachronism has the meaning that something is not suitable for a period of time. Those people who rely on calculators think that using mental calculation is outmoded, since we have calculators now!

Vituperative is the answer for the question with "amicable, languorous, unequivocal, syncophatic" as answer choices.
The calculator one is definitely anachronism.

I am actually considering canceling because I might screw up my passages. Hmm...

DY1111: I chose no. 1 because it is pertaining to intellectual processing. It is not just about poetry. The critics are claiming that in order for robots to have intelligence, they must be able to have self-consciousness and be able to intellectually process information. It is not limited to poetry, I think.
