actually they upload them every Tuesday and Thursday night so they're available on Wednesday. and Friday..so basically if you looked today and your scores aren't up there then they won't be up there until AT LEAST next Friday...the next time they are uploading scores is next Thursday...Tuesday is off because of Christmas so everyone who doesn't have a score yet has to wait another week.

UGHHHHHHHHHHHHH! What the helll?! This is not fair. I know I didn't make any mistakes such as missing information. The deadlines are Jan 1 for applications! I need the score. Is anybody else as irate as I am?!?!?!

YEAH!!!!!!! I'M SO *ED I COULD RIP OF THEIR NECKS AND TAKE A HOT, STEAMING * DOWN THEIR THROATS! (I have had diarrhea too, so that would extra special.)

I got a 27 composite for the ACTs, and a 1890 SAT, which do you think I should send? I'm on the west coast btw, also it was my 4 time taking the SATs

I would like to send both, but I'm sending it to 11 schools, so it'd be around 200 dollars, we don't have alot of money so I'm trying to decide which one to send. Those Apps were $420, and I'm trying to get a car (used obviously) so I don't wanna put too much financial stress on my parents.

This is to the UCs and CSU btw.

EDIT: My SAT Reading and Math score is 1310. So M: 650 R: 660 W: 580

If you took the SAT Reasoning Test: The University converts your highest scores in critical reading, math and writing from a single sitting and two SAT Subject Tests from different subject areas to equivalent UC Scores (see translation table below). Then all five UC Scores are added together to produce your UC Score Total (critical reading + math + writing + subject test 1 + subject test 2).

To give the ACT writing component equal weight to the SAT writing exam, the University multiplies the sum of your converted math, reading and science scores by two-thirds, then adds the converted English/writing score. This subtotal is then added to your two highest SAT Subject Test scores from two different subject areas, which are also converted to equivalent UC Scores, to reach your UC Score Total ([math + reading + science] x 0.667 + English/writing + subject test 1 + subject test 2).

Well with the UC score My ACT would be much higher 402 compared to 367, actually I don't know if that big difference, I don't see how it can be since I thought my ACT was about par with SATs.

However, if I were send my ACTs, I'd still end up having to send my SAT IIs, so if I go the ACT route it'd be double.

How long do ACT scores take? Four to eight weeks, according to the website and the registration materials. We've just finished week two. The scores that have come out already are early.

Actually the website that the scores for the December test would be up December 19th-December 21 so I think people are upset their scores weren't in those initial batches of tests put up.

No, it says (early) scores will start appearing then. And they did. It doesn't say YOUR scores will be available then, it says you can start checking then. YOUR scores will be available in four to eight weeks. I understand why people who don't have their scores yet are disappointed and frustrated, but they haven't been wronged or treated unfairly.

Yeah I'm pretty much wicked ****ed about this whole ordeal. I keep having dreams about my scores and I've been waking up at 5am every morning checking! :((

I know it says four to eight weeks, but I always thought that meant the hard copies, like when they mail you your scores. I've taken the ACT's three times now and this is the only time my scores weren't up on the first day, let alone the fourth day and this time, the time period is actually crucial. I would just think that these scores should be made a priority particularly since so many have deadlines for college applications within the week. Sorry if I may seem irrational to some, but I'm starting to panic. In conclusion, I'm praying my scores will be up asap. sigh They still have yet to appear. Joy to the world and bah humbug to all. Actually, I hope everybody in the same plight as me gets their situation resolved soon.

Oh, and I love how the ACT login page is completly down right now. Niice.

About the four to eight weeks thing...quote from ACT "Normally, all scores are reported by 8 weeks after the test date...Seeing your scores on the Web does NOT speed up reporting." It seems that the 8 weeks deadline refers to the REPORTING of scores, not actually seeing them listed. So, being forced to wait 4 to 8 weeks just to SEE them, let alone be able to send them to colleges is outrageous in my opinion. Just being able to see them and decide whether or not I should send them is the issue at hand here, at least for me.
