I’m applying to Boston College and I know my stats are not the most spectacular, but I’m deciding to give the college a try since its familiar with a program I participate in. However I’m concerned that my subject test scores might be too low. I only took subject tests in case I needed them and never really considered taking them again

MY Scores:
US History:690
Biology:660

I only took these subject tests because I took the AP classes, but now i fear it might be too low since most people would say they get in the 700s

and my SAT score is a 1850 (retaking in Jan) so I’m afraid lol :/

Dear XPhylissX : There are many areas covered by an application - the numbers form one, albeit an important, element of your profile. As you have only shared that single piece of information, you are aware that an 1850 three-way SAT I score is in the bottom quartile of the accepted freshman pool and as a such, you should assume that your odds of acceptance will be incredibly small.

As for being afraid, what do you fear? Rejection? Our recommendation is that you proceed on the basis that your profile is well outside the Boston College range. Concentrate on applications where you see a better academic fit in the Boston area.
