When looking at the course descriptions, they often have a set of number after them, like this:
Ma 2ab Linear Algebra, Statistics, and Differential Equations (4-0-5)
What does the (4-0-5) stand for?
Expected Hours:
Class-Lab-Set
Keep in mind that while the majority of classes are described adequately time-commitment wise by the credit distributions, a lot of classes can be under-unitted with regards to the amount of time spent on sets (e.g. ACM95a and CS21, 24, and 38). As such, make sure your son/daughter does not try to take 4 12-unit classes.
Thank you!
