decision complete to approved?

has anyone had a decision completed status change to admission approved on the web advisor?

no, but that means you’ve been accepted. Congrats!

actually, it hasnt changed yet. just hoping it will. still says decision completed as of 3/31/10. wondering if this status can still change to approved or not. hoping maybe someone else had to happen to them. would hate to find out in the mail it means waitlisted or worse.

oh um…i hate to tell you but if it just says decision complete, it means that you were either waitlisted or rejected…

thats what im afraid of. i also read where it could mean there was no more room in your 1st choice major, so you may need to change it. At least there is always Whittier College.

ya  there will always be somewhere else

jhope, this is what I thought but Admissions says that it is not necessarily the case

"oh um…i hate to tell you but if it just says decision complete, it means that you were either waitlisted or rejected… "

Actually, decision complete does not mean rejected/waitlisted… I mean, I suppose it could, but a friend of mine got that as his status, and he was accepted. So, don’t lose hope:)

oh ok i didn’t know that…I have several friends who applied and those who got “admissions approved” were accepted, some with the dean’s scholarship and those with “decision complete” were rejected…I was just basing my answer off of what I’ve seen so far.

i had a “decision pending” for awhile…it then changed to “decision complete” thats when I got a call from Chapman saying that I was rejected from the specific major that I applied to but since I was a “strong” applicant they asked if I wanted to switch to my second choice major and when I did that web advisor changed to “admission approved.” That’s just my personal story.
