Decisions are out!

how do you find out? the applicant link? it just says review is complete?

i got waitlisted but its cool,, im still going to boston for college! but the waitlist letter says that

"we have placed your name on a short, unranked waiting list for admission"

lol what does short mean 20??? or 3,000 because 3000 is a short waiting list too compared to 38000 people that applied lol whats short?! hahah

True that homie. Whatever I'm just glad I'm not going to school on a campus like this. http://www.psych.nyu.edu/images/map4.png

I took a tour around a month ago since I live in NY and was not impressed at all. If your picture of NYU is NYC with Times Square, Madison Square Garden, Broadway, and the skyline, it is not! It's about 4 blocks each direction and that is it. There is no real campus either. BU has a city feel with a real campus. Plus the whole campus lies on a river, pretty sweet.

Check it out

D was accepted School of Communication....can anyone who received scholarship tell me where on the link it would be?

My EFC was around 12k. I got like 34,600 in grants and around 5,400 in loans. Not sure what this means, though. XD

yea, My efc was about 4400, and my fa was around 41,600 so that only leaves about a 3,000 gap which is completely manageable. :)

What is the total cost of Boston U?

i saw on the applicant link that it's a little over $48,000.

Yea....im on spring break right now and decided to check...and i got in!!!!!!....time to get excited!!!!

Just got accepted! :)

YESS, total financial aid award of 40,000!!! ROCK ON, i can afford to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rejected.

Congrats everyone! You deserve it :)

woot.

Accepted to CAS <3

44 thousand a year in grants + 5 thousand in loans.
Huzzah for being poor!

It was actually 32k I got from grants and like 8k in loans. xD But still, somewhere around 40k I got of aid.

I got like 27k in grants and like 7k in loans/work study. Kinda irritating, considering that, with my EFC, that leaves about 9k unaccounted for.

But that's just the tentative package, and maybe they'll give me more because my brother goes to BU, and it's just the two of us, so the whole family would be Terriers. Let's hope they loosen the purse strings a little.

My EFC was 12k. I have around 8k to make up for since everyone says it's around 48k to go there.

i got in, rejected for trustee

but thats all it said, i was under the impression that if you apply for trustee, you're still eligible for other scholarships. I was expecting half with my credentials. even 10 would have been understandable. but 0?????????

im incredibly upset. I'm hoping that they'll send the other scholarship information in the mail. does anyone know about how it works?

:(.. i really wanted to go.. but 46K a year, will drain me.

We have met your calculated financial need with University grant and/or scholarship funds without including any student loans in your financial aid award

did anyone get that message? does that mean i got a full ride??

got in w/ 46k in grant money
being poor rocks hard!

but who cares, im going to barnard!!!!
