On Friday, I was rejected by Bryn Mawr. On Saturday, by Barnard & Sarah Lawrence. I thought I was not going to get in anywhere besides my SUNYS (Binghamton, Oneonta, Buffalo, Stony Brook).

I came home to a thin envelope from Vassar, Wellesley, and a thin (waitlist) from Smith, and a big, priority mail from Mt Holyoke. Words cannot express how happy I am right now!!

I got in!!

I was able to see the Admitted Students: thing, btw!! :P

grrr. i haven't gotten an email or a letter! if they send their admission letters by priority mail then i should have gotten it already... uh, oh well...

wow I actually got waitlisted, I was expecting a rejection! Now I just have to call and see where I am on the list. If its too far down/looking like I don't have a chance at all, I'll be going to Wheaton.

Hi gals,
I'm definitely going to MHC this year too. Have always wanted to go to a women's college and MHC is terrific. I still wait for more decision from other schools but MHC is no.1 to me anyway. I got a generous package of 45K$. They must've loved me hehe.
Anyway, excited to see y'all in MA. Cant wait till September.

i got accepted....very happy. a repesentative sent a thin envelope congratulating me.

am i suppose to receive a thick envelope/package? i only found out my acceptance from the thin envelope just now. nothing directly from mount holyoke.

yes, there's a big priority mail envelope with a black folder in it. in front of the black folder, there is a postcard. inside the folder, there are several letters, a mini-viewbook (10 reasons to choose MHC), a financial aid guide, and an "Experience" weekend flyer.

maybe it's just taking really long to get there! the rep. probably found out, assumed you already knew and decided to mail you congratulating you. your package should arrive shortly. congratulations; will you be attending?
