Waitlisted! :(

rejected.

I really wanted to go
=[

waitlisted, did anyone get in?

Waitlisted, surprised how many others were too

waitlisted!
eh. more than i expected.

Well, the notice DID say that they were much more careful with the number of admits due to having too many people last year.

Waitlisted xP

Rejected, 3.98 GPA UW 34 ACT

rejected…I was really banking on this one too. i’m only in at my safety so far but i can’t afford it :(

My friend got in with a 2200 and like a 3.7. But she has great sciencey extracurriculars and it says on CB that ECs and standardized tests are most important and GPA is only considered.

She deserves it.

great guess a 35 and 2350 don’t count haha

waitlisted as well :(

aznmeeagi, I am in pretty much the same boat. Seriously trying not to freak out.

Accepted!

Sorry to everyone that got waitlisted/rejected…but we will all find a place where we are really meant to be! No worries :)

rejected :///

not surprised, my stats weren’t up to par, but i was hoping my essay to brutus from julius caesar written in shakespeare’s style might squeeze me through. alas :)

@alwayshungry, what were your stats?

I heard the admission rate this year is 13%, the lowest in the history of CMC.

I got accepted! And to the people rejected/waitlisted, don’t hang your heads, even if this is your top-choice/dream school. I just came off a rejection from Berkeley and we are all well aware that the right college is out there for everyone! I wish each and everyone good luck.

Concerning this year’s admission rate: “For your class we received 4,481 applications for 300 freshman openings”. That’s 6.69% admittance…damn

i got waitlisted too…i wonder how many ppl were waitlisted
just got in uc berkeley today, so not too bummed
well, congrats to all of those who were accepted =)

Well CMC has about a 40% yield rate, and they expect that to go down a bit because more people are applying to more colleges. So actually, if you factor in a yield rate of about 38% they probably admitted about 16-18%.

waitlisted…
