Decisions on March 9?

Made it. ‘.’

Lol, my conclusion is that WUSTL is, for once, going to do decisions March 30th, and this thread will repeat every single day until then. :stuck_out_tongue: But hopefully not.
And apparently, EVERYONE is checking their pathway, as mine is being extremely slowwwwwwww.

Wong, good job with your 2000th post! Perfect. Let the admissions decisions appear!

5 Minutes… I can feel it.

Wong, your 2000 post = putting up WUSTL decision thread: that’s got to be a “sign.” Keeping my fingers crossed for you and everyone else. waiting here for S’s decision. he’s not a CCer so he has no idea that decisions may be imminent, and I’m not breathing a word of this thread so that he remains ignorant of impending decision news and relaxed.

How many apps of the 28,000 or so are we expecting WashU to admit?

^^ Your son is lucky. I wish I didn’t know.

I’m guessing between 15 and 20 percent.

Probably somewhere around 5,000. That’s about 18%.

Sadly it is 5:03PM EST and the decisions have still yet to be posted. My friends who got in ED were notified between 4PM and 4:30PM EST, so I would think that WashU would post by now… UGH!!

Does anyone know by how much applications increased from last year? If the number is significant, then it is quite possible we will not hear for at least another week, considering how many more applications they would need to read.

I hope the rest of you have begun to hear back from other schools! I just found out that American mailed out its letters today. I was deferred from my ED school (it was not WashU), so I have yet to hear back from anything. Hopefully I’ll get my American envelope tomorrow and I’ll at least have a safety? Man, the college process sucks; I just wish we all knew where we were going!

What portion of the WUSTL key am i supposed to be looking for my decision? Just the main page that says “Your application for admission is complete! Please check back often for important updates.” ??

Nothing up as of 5 PM EST. What is our next targeted time that is most likely? I’m thinking next most likely time is 6 EST, and then a lot less likely at 7 EST, and then after that no chance for today.

Oh, and my WUSTL login has been EXCRUCIATINGLY slow all day as well.

I think it was 15% increase in apps. But still…as someone previously mentioned, there was an 8% increase last year and they still managed to release decisions on march 10th.

@mustgotocollege: Really? Mine was super fast. I mean, I wish it was slow because that would give me hope that decisions were being posted…but still

5PM is the standard time. I think it will be tomorrow.

jmero7, I’m thinking it would probably be on the front page and they would wipe out all the other messages since it is so important

@mustgotocollege: Mine has been really fast as well

I’m not having any problems with it… seems fine! (And I’m on an old crone of a laptop, too…)

@RenaissanceMom, I’m in the same boat as you… stressing out for my son, who has asked me NOT to tell him when decisions are expected/predicted, only when they’re actually out. I admire his restraint!
