^Thank you! Congrats to your son as well:)

I was invited also

So far people who were accepted had SAT scores of 2220, 2250 2300, 2340, 2380, 2380, and 2400 for an average accepted score of 2324.29. What in the world is going on?!?

What do you mean? And why do you care if you’re going to Dartmouth?

Oh yeah looks like I got the invitation as well, you guys going?

^I don’t know…the dates kind of conflict with some of my other activities. I think I’m going to wait for the financial aid package to come first; I need to make sure I can actually afford the school before I visit.

Waitlisted…I’m not upset or anything because I already got a minority likely letter from Duke and I wouldn’t have gone to Wash U anyways! Good luck and congrats to those who are accepted!

Rejected!! Im really disappointed! I thought I would be waitlisted, but… Anw, so worried about the other schools. Congrats to anyone accepted!

Are the multicultural invites through email or on the pathway?? (Still haven’t checked- this will probably tell me though.)

Rejected…oh well! State school for me!

I just saw the other thread under “New Posts” and while I was skimming I noticed the average SAT/ACT were particularly high. It seems the people who have already been accepted would be in the 75th+ percentile at WUSTL. If this trend of SAT/ACT scores in the 75th+ percentile at WUSTL continues I foresee a fair amount of people being taken off the waitlist compared with previous years.

Even though I will be matriculating to Dartmouth in the fall, WUSTL was on my college list and I have friends who applied to WUSTL so I’m curious about who was/wasn’t accepted/waitlisted/rejected.

Congrats everyone!

@Sindhi55: the invite is on the pathway-in your inbox to be more precise.

my first acceptance! congrats everyone!

Waitlisted, whaadduupppp!
Too lazy to post my stats in the official decisions, so quick breakdown:
2230 SAT, 33 ACT, 96 GPA, plethora of ECs, ORM
pretty much waitlist material

This is going to sound horrible, but is anyone who got into WashU worried about getting into “better schools”? I’m more worried about this because I live in NY so many of the schools on par with WashU that are closer to me are Ivy League and I would prefer not to take a plane if I don’t have to.

It was nice to get one of my top schools early, I think I will be flying there to check it out in the next week or so.

Waitlisted… :/

rainbowrose, I feel the same way and no matter what people are telling me, I feel like I’m losing hope :/

rainbowrose I’m in NJ and applied to some IVY’s and the top LAC’s so I will be waiting too although WU is on par with any of them so I’m very excited!

The thing is, I’m not exactly aiming for Harvard. I know someone in my school who got into Wash U and Penn a couple years back. Besides, Wash U is an awesome school and I’m honored to be accepted since many people aren’t accepted to either Wash U or any Ivies. Seriously, the only reason I’m concerned is because I don’t want to take a plane ride if I don’t have to.
