threeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

has anyone else tried logging on to the decisions page? lol.

yea it just says "You have successfully confirmed your ability to view your decision online, which will be available beginning at 12:00PM Eastern Time on Saturday, March 15."

so just over 2 more hours to go?

Yep, 2 hours 5 min approximately.

Why are they so punctual? Does anyone think the decisions site will be available some time earlier?

EA they came out like 5 minutes early.

and you responded in the same minute! hehe

=P I swear I'm not refreshing every second or anything like that. That just happened to be when I saw the thread.

OMG the suspense is killing me.

@ la montagne: I did not mean that. Peace!

Why can't they put decisions up an hour and a half early?... I mean, they must be done by now... =[

I hate waiting.

Dude, la montagne, I saw your post and my first thought was "oh, she posted at 10:24, and 1024 is a power of two."

Only on the MIT forum. haha

=D Maybe my power-of-two post will be good luck?

On another note, I live on the east coast, where it IS 10:37 now... but on CC all the time stamps are two hours behind. Anyone know how to adjust the time zones on my account? =P

Huh, I'm in the EST, too, and my times are fine. Check under account settings, maybe?...

Any news from MIT yet?

not yet. sadly.

most of the people i know don't really understand how prestigious these schools are. like MIT and Stanford. it would make me pretty angry on the inside except that a few years ago i didn't understand either...
even my parents are like 'oh kayla you'll get into MIT you're smart" and i''m like "everyone who applies is smart. smarter than me"
[/quote]
UGHH! I know exactly what you mean. That's what everyone says to me. I applied EA, and the day before decisions came out, everyone was like, "Haha, don't worry 'LesOs,' you'll definitely get into MIT." I had to give my teachers the forms for my RD recs, and they all said, "Wait, why are you giving me these? Didn't you apply to MIT EA?" When I said, "Yeah... but that doesn't mean I'm getting in," they all replied, "Oh, no, I wouldn't worry about that. I don't need the forms. You're fine."

It was humiliating when I had to tell everyone I was deferred, but it was kind of empowering, too ("Ha! I told you I was going to be deferred! I was right!"). Ha, ha.

Anyway, I'm totally getting rejected. I'm 100% positive. I'm not even nervous because I know it's coming.

Besides that they're killing us with the long wait, not much.

Oh my goodness. Ducktape, are you the "Shannon" Ben mentions in his blog?...
