Other Factors, hook?: Presented at some Microsoft conferences, both parents went to UW Law, remained active alumni, and have fairly prestigious jobs in local government, have taken summer program offered at the UW Robinson Center for Talented Youth (not UW classes).

General Comments, scholarship chances, status info, going to UW…?: I’m a national merit semifinalist, also applying for some other scholarships, NASA Space Grant, Pride Foundation. My status went to “received” on January 4th, “reviewed” on January 6th, unofficial transcript on January 7, acceptance letter January 8th. I’ll go to the UW unless I get $20k in scholarships to one of my top private colleges, or I get a large pride foundation scholarship.
