Does anyone know if you can re audition for MT one you are a student there, if you go in as a Theatre major?

It happened to Kyle Post, now in Kinky Boots. I’ve also heard of a woman, now graduated, who that worked out for too, but I’m thinking it’s rare. <a href=“Tony Awards 2013: Baldwin Wallace alum Kyle Post talks about landing role in Broadway's 'Kinky Boots' - cleveland.com”>Tony Awards 2013: Baldwin Wallace alum Kyle Post talks about landing role in Broadway's 'Kinky Boots' - cleveland.com;

just wondering if there are any parents of current students on here?

Yes. Ask away…

My son auditioned 11/17, accepted 12/5 and said yes to MT program 3/9. Let other schools know after he’d made his decision. Its been a long 5 months as his first audition was in October. Looking forward to the next 4 years. BW seems a perfect match for him as he is a strong versatile musician. Excited to see how they help him further develop his talents. Good luck to all still waiting. Its the least fun part, but I guess gets them ready for the business since they’ll be 90% auditioning and waiting!

congratulations on his decision. enjoy the rest of this time.

Just wondering has everyone heard back from Baldwin one way or another or are there still more to come?

Still waiting

hang in there bostongirl2018

bostongirl2018 when did you audition?

@NewYorkSon I auditioned Feb 14.

Today’s the day. Should we call if nothing comes today?

Supposed to be mailed out today so you may hear tomorrow or Saturday depending where you live. Good luck!!!

S got an email sent to all “accepted students”, inviting him to BW student productions this weekend. But S is on wait list and never officially “accepted” to the school. Anyone else have similar experience? Or know something we don’t?

I think it’s because of academic acceptance

Could be, but he has not received ANY indication of acceptance. I guess time will tell. . .

in waitlist letter did it not indicate that you could come to BW for another major if you want - that is what it said in ours

Letter dated December 2013 says, “You may wish to discuss your option to pursue one of the countless inspiring opportunities . . . It would be a pleasure to have you as part of our BW community this fall.” He has not received a single correspondence from BW since then. Three months seems like an awfully long “dry spell” if BW considers him an accepted student. We’re still getting deluged with mail from schools he’s never even talked to. Hmmm.

Same letter same date…I took that as an academic acceptance Like you - no communication since then except for some emails like you mentioned - however, we did not get a recent one

Letters were suppose to go out yesterday for this with academic acceptance packages and suppose to be a decision from conservatory. We received the same letter you did in December with the wait list. Trust me I was totally confused by this decision going out so soon.

Thanks Raam1012 and NewYorkSon. I was afraid we’d missed something.
