As far as anyone has heard, is March 20th still the target for Conservatory Admission decisions?

My son just got his acceptance letter for Baldwin Wallace today–needless to say we’re thrilled!!!

Congratulations to you and your son!! Very exciting! May I ask what area you live? Is BW at the top of his list?

We live outside of New York City, and it’s one of his top choices at this point. We went there for his audition, and he just loved it (as did I). They treated everyone so well, and I was super-impressed with the faculty, the facilities, and the whole program. We got to see a Master Class of their students, and I was blown away by their talent. Are you and your son/daughter waiting to her from lots of places?

Congrats to your son! Can you share a little about the acceptance process? Did his online status change before he got the letter? Was the envelope thin with a simple letter or a thick manila envelope. Yikes! This is so suspenseful.

My D received a large envelope in the mail today; hadn’t checked the website in a week or so - not sure when that may have changed.

When I check my status on the website it sends me an email saying Conservatory decisions will be mailed by March 20th… is that what everyone else is getting as well?

Congratulations to your daughter. Good luck to all!

I can’t remember the exact wording (not home to ask) but something like “we will contact you shortly.” What about others? To those accepted; Are you now getting another message? Can anyone from prior years explain the process? It would be nice to have more information.

The email sent off the status site:

Congratulations on being accepted to Baldwin-Wallace College! The faculty, staff and students welcome you to our college community. You will receive official notification of your admission in the mail within the next week…

Yeah it says the same thing on the site when i check my admission status…it says we will be notified by march 20th

I called the school and they said the status change means nothing. Yet everyone I have heard of that was accepted did have a status change. Very confusing.

My son heard last Tuesday that he was accepted for MT! He got a large envelope, so we figured it was good news!

Congrats to your son!
By big envelope, do you mean big in size (like the size of a manila envelope) or large in thickness (like the envelope was stuffed)?

I meant big in size (e.g., like a manilla envelope size)
