ADMITTED TO ST.OLAF!!

I am an international student from Asia and have NOT been informed about my financial aid package yet.
Has ST. Olaf ever NOT met full need of an intl student? And what kind of students will fit in?

I am worried about the aid, because I also got admitted to Grinnell but it only gives my 10k/year. Though it is stated that this school will meet full need of all admitted students I am pretty upset about this. So I am kinda worried that St.Olaf can be the same.

Can you please answer my questions. Thank you

Are you expecting St Oalf to pay 100 percent?

No, I am not expecting that. I claimed that my family can contribute 21k/year. And I expect St.Olaf to fully meet the rest of the attendance cost, which is around 34k/year :)

Ok but you can’t claim what you pay. They determine that number just like Grinnell. They actually are very similar in how they use the CSS so I’d say what Grinnell said was your contribution will be the same.

This is from St Oalf site on determining aid:

After we have determined your level of financial need, we will provide a financial aid package that might include all or some of the following forms of aid: gift assistance (scholarships and grants), loans and student work on campus.
