<p>Question i just had: Say you are applying for admission to a competitive university. You want to apply for a certain major, but your grades arent exactly top-notch. Would it possibly be easier to get in as undeclared, rather then trying to get in your major?</p>
<p>Most competitive schools don’t factor in declared major since around 70% of students switch majors, so I don’t think going undeclared will be an advantage.</p>
