Decreasing trend in GPA?

Is a .13 drop in the unweighted GPA a very large drop for ivy league/extremely selectively schools?
My sophmore year GPA was a 3.822 unweighted and my junior year’s GPA is 3.69 unweighted. My courseload obviously increased in difficulty, but so many people are still maintain or increase their GPA between 10th and 11th grade. Also my GPA wasn’t even that high to begin with so would my drop be a really ugly mark on my resume, or would they take into account the course difficulty increase?

I don’t know if i’m coming off as another grade obsessed freak that wants an ego message but that is not my intention at all.
thanks

<p>i dont think it could hurt much if it does, i mean if your grades are all generally strong over those 3 years, especially w/ difficult classes, i dont know how badly that can cost you.</p>

<p>my own gpa went 9th-4.0, 10th-4.0, 11th-3.8 (<- thank you, evil comp sci teacher...)</p>

<p>i mean... i dont think theyll be like, "A... A... A... OMFG a B! this kid is heading down the path to failure..."</p>

<p>i dunno i could be wrong.</p>

<p>it means you couldn't handle the pressure when things got tougher.</p>

<p>oooohhhh...</p>

<p>chill, don't worry about it</p>

<p>If your courseload got harder, it shouldn't be too much of a problem</p>

<p>dont they mostly count sophomorew, junior and senior? Not the freshmen year?</p>

<p>yeah... but there can still be a downward trend... we're talking about screwing up JUNIOR year... lol</p>
