I've just received word of a deferral from Penn State. Is this good? Bad? I'm new to this, and would like some input! Anyone else receive a deferral, or even an acceptance?

<p>A deferral from Penn State is good. It means you are still in consideration. After all the auditions are over, the faculty meet and decide who to accept from those deferred. The acceptance letters typically go out the following week after the last on campus audition.</p>
