Deferred Yale, Chance for reaches: Stanford, Penn, Cornell, Tufts

Hey guys,

  1. Transcript: Almost perfect GPA; 7 IB courses with demanding rigor - Mathematics HL, Physics HL
  2. Test scores: 1450 SAT composite (weak, I know, but pretty good given where I'm applying from)
  3. Extracurriculars with noticeable achievement; Started clubs, led them. Unique activities such as organizing TEDx. However no direct spike, activities are diverse.
  4. Academic interest: Computer Engineering.

I think my personal statement was good, evoked an intellectual curiosity image. No hooks however.

Please chance me for : stanford, penn, cornell, tufts, and northwestern.

Thank you

My guess is:
Tufts: accept
Cornell: idk I was just rejected with a 34 ED
Northwestern: watilist
penn: waitlist/reject
stanford: reject

If you’re serious about Tufts, finances are not a consideration, and you won’t live your life wondering “what if?” with respect to the other schools, I’d think seriously about applying ED2.

The others are reaches for everyone.

Hey all

I’ve added Vassar, Rochester, Swarthmore, and JHU to the list. Chances?
