Essays and recommendations will be spectacular...

Chance (percent)? Suggestions? Go kill myself for sucking?

There is just way too much speculation, and you're going to be a junior. Go live it up a bit before you start junior year. Work hard then, and if you're speculations are correct, then you should be in good shape, but jeeze. Worrying about college already...

k just wanted to see if i'm on the right track, i only have 1 year left really

There is no such thing as a track. Anyone can only tell you so much. You could have a great vita and still get rejected for whatever reason.

If I were to say anything now, then your test scores are fine, and you should not retake them because a super high score can you rejected just as easily as a low score can. Your ECs are a bit scattered. Concentrate more on the science as it seems you are passionate about that stuff. You're in good shape, I suppose, but anything can happen over a year.

Now, go and relax. Sheesh. I should be worrying about college as I'm a rising senior. You're a rising junior, and you should have other worries besides college.

That statement doesn't make much sense. I agree that the OPs SAT score of 2270 is excellent, and he needs not retake (although retaking the SAT once isn't usually a bad idea)... But um, yeah. Someone with a 2400 can get rejected, and so can someone with a 1700. But if someone has a 1700 and another has a 2400, it's pretty obvious who has a better shot.

Anyway, to the OP -- You got a 2270 as a sophomore? That's insane!
I think you have a good chance. Being Indian and from NJ makes it unpredictable though. But definitely a decent-to-good shot, I'd say.
And CTY, nice... My best friend and fellow Penn 11er went to CTY for several years, and lots of her CTY friends are going to Ivies. I have a few HS friends who went to CTY too, so yay for that. Hehe.

"I only have a year left really."-LOL. But you are on "the right track", if that's what you wanted to know.

Seriously though, you are just entering junior year. It's OUR right (me, tux, and all the class of 2012ers) to ask for chances. Not yours. Wait a year.

They won't usher you in just because you have a 2400. They still want everything else. If you have a 2000 (1700 is extreme, really extreme), but you have everything else, then you still have a pretty good shot at getting in. Where as, if you just have the academics (scores including), then you're still not in good shape.
