Wait a minute. How could that person be tracked by the college board? I thought that our information on College Confidential was, well, CONFIDENTIAL?

^^ lol
haha

Wait, so I'm guessing they tracked his IP and that's how they caught him and took away his scores?

That kind of sucks, but I understand.

is this one giant troll?

Which?

10char

I was going to say the same exact thing as katchat. How do they get your personal info? How do they know who you are? Some people may not use there real name/email when they got their account.

Why would people even take the risk of getting their scores canceled. Just don’t post anything for two days after the exam, how hard is that!

Don’t worry. I don’t ever plan on sharing MC answers, and I plan to abide by the two-day rule.

Over time, a lot of folks manage to share enough tidbits aobut themselves that it’s possible to get a pretty good idea. Add tracking down the IP address…busted.

College Board will really go through all that trouble.

Only if the ISPs comply though, and are they allowed to?

That’s what I’m wondering.

i’ve already blanked on all the multiple choice… couldn’t ‘share’ them if i even tried to remember, post-traumatic-stress of physics

^yeah, I feel the same way :(

you think collegeboard won’t go through all that trouble?

well, for every person they bust and punish, it’s another person who learned that lesson and will share it.

moreover, a company should do anything it needs to to ensure the quality of its product. collegeboard will.

just curious…does ETS even notify students if their AP scores get canceled i.e. via email or phone call? because it seems unfair for students to have their scores canceled without any notification

so if a forum was deleted, it was cc trying to protect the posters?

probably, or maybe it had something inapropriate or something…

alright, cause a forum i was posting on disappeared, and i’m freakin.

anyone know the answer to my question?
