Delaware v. Case Western Reserve

Hey i am deciding between these two colleges.

I am planning on doing Chemical Engineering and wanting to go to a grad school.

Can you compare the two schools?
1. Rigor of classes
2. Easiness is getting good grades (prestigeous private or decent public) i know privates are more linient.
3. Research opportunities
4. Social life.
5. Other comments.

Btw, they cost about the same amount

Bumpppp!!!

Case is more rigorous
2.Easier to get good grades at UD, but a B at Case is better than an A at Delaware. No matter where you go, though, it might be a good idea to learn to spell “prestigious” and “lenient.” Professors, especially in writing classes (which you will generally need to fill GenEds), care about little things like that

Case has better opportunities in research, especially for freshmen. There’s more research being done, and fewer students, which means fewer applicants for positions.

Delaware’s social life is definitely better than Case’s, if by “social life” you mean “parties, alcohol, and drugs.” While Case certainly does have parties, they are by no means anywhere near Delawares.

Case is a better school in terms of academics, but if you want a “typical” college experience, UD is probably a better choice.
