Demonstrated Interest for Transfers?

Hi,

I am applying for transfer to schools like Northwestern and Brown. I know that these schools account for demonstrated interest in freshman admissions, but I was wondering if this is still a relevant factor for transfer admissions? And if it is still a factor, what would be the best way of showing demonstrated interest as a transfer student?

I’m not specifically sure about Northwestern and Brown, but I would say showing interest as a transfer student is the same as a freshmen.

The best way of showing interest is going and visiting. You can find a way to briefly mention it in the “why us” essays.
