How do international students far, far away demonstrate interest? It puzzles me...

they do by posting on this site
or bribing admins

International students demonstrate interest just like domestic students: getting and staying in touch with the admission's office, visiting the campus if it's an option financially, interviewing, either on campus or with an alumn interviewer abroad, submitting a well-written "why XYZ college" application essay, and applying early.

The colleges who seem to care most about demonstrated interest are small liberal arts colleges. XYZ State University won't care, and neither will Harvard.
