I was denied admission to the ACT test center because I didint have my photo ID but I had my admit ticket. IS there anyway I can reschedule the test date and not wait for february to arrive? I’m a senior and I was hoping to take it today so it could come out in time for RD? If not how do I get a refund?
The photo ID requirement is clearly stated. It was your fault for not having it with you. They will not set up a special test day for you. You may also not get a refund but you can ask.

given you are senior, is it your first time taking any ACT/SAT? not to mention it is clearly stated, there is no good reason of not bringing the photo ID…
@annamom It was my first ACT but I’ve taken the SATs before. I was going to take the ACTs for my Brown and Columbia applications since I don’t think I did too well on the subject tests. I also wanted to do better on the ACTs than I did on the SATs. I knew that the photo ID was required, but heading out of the house I was in a rush to get to the center since we were late. I guess there’s really nothing I can do now
@zofro99 - sorry to hear about that. All you can do at this point is to call ACT. FYI - the Feb ACT is accepted by most schools for RD (check each school’s website). Plus - this might be a blessing - you get 2 more months to prepare and do great in your ACT. Good luck.
