Desks in Sixth res halls - can I fit a 22" monitor?

I'm thinking about getting a 22" monitor from Dell, and I'm wondering - are the desks big enough? Will I have trouble finding room for it? It's a little over 20" wide.

Hey let me hook my laptop up to your monitor. The tables muir provided were pretty big, so I think it would fit there. Assuming that SD bought the same tables in bulk for each of the colleges, then they would fit.

Hey let me hook my laptop up to your monitor. Hey let me use your electric bicycle. Hey let me use your deodorant. Hey let me use your girlfriend. Just for a sec.

sure you can fit it. the desks are much bigger than 22". not sure if you'll have much room...hopefully it's an LCD screen because otherwise, half your desk just got eaten away by your monitor. if necessary, you can just move the bookshelf they give you from on top of your desk (to make room for the monitor) to on the floor somewhere

Another, unrelated question. Is there any HD programming on the cable network?

I'm 90% certain you'll have to remove the bookshelf from the top of the desk unless you like the monitor in. your. face. lol

This is a 19" LCD on the standard desk with the bookshelf sitting on the chest of drawers to the left. Notice the depth profile. (This is sixth apartments btw.)

My monitor is widescreen though, so it's only about 16.5" tall.

also, tritoncable is not hd

Nice choice of laptop (Dell Latitude). Glad to see another person not buy into the Apple CrapBook craze.

I'm still using the same one since 2004 - about time to get something new though. I leave the Dell docked at home now and use an old PowerBook G4 provided by my employer for work and AT school. The PC is more responsive, but the Mac gets better battery life and has a slicker interface. Though, I don't think I'd buy a Mac myself, because I know Dell's support rocks and I've heard some bad things about AppleCare.

Macbook Pros are nice, but all those pasty-white toy-looking cheapo Macbooks disgust me. You should get the Dell Latitude D630 or the Lenovo ThinkPad T61, which is what I have. The build quality of business laptops is unparalleled.

Sadly, people are easily fooled by looks and fads and jump on the bandwagon.

^Seriously, some girl I met at orientation told me she wanted a Macbook because it was "pretty." eyes roll

Well since we're off on a diff topic, have you guys seen the movie idiocracy? It has some pretty deep insights if you look past the bland humour and stuff.

I like Superbad.

Yah everyone's loving that movie.. I need to see it.

Yea. I can tell.

So anyway, is there any legit HD on the campus cable network? :)

What's that?
