I'm desperate to get into Emory. I'm a Freshman at the University of Miami.. Emory was my first choice but I got rejected. I'm very attracted to its Neuroscience program. I had a 2120 on the SATs, A-/B+ weighted average in high school (mostly As and Bs, but I did have 2 C+s... 4 AP classes, 7 honors classes) I was captain of my varisty tennis and volleyball teams, volunteered at a hospital, interned in a lab at Boston University. At the University of Miami, I am in a pioneer honors science/math program... I currently have a B in honors bio, B in honors chem, (got credit for the honors math), A+ in intro to psych, A- in english.. probably A- in my bio and chem labs... so I assume at least a 3.5 GPA... intramural volleyball, volunteer once a week at the Miami Children's Hospital...

DO I HAVE A SHOT???

HOW CAN I INCREASE MY CHANCES???

Would anyone recommend applying for the Spring semester during my sophomore year? I figure I would be competing with less people...

THANK YOU!!
