detail of "not guessing" strat

I have the Grammatix guide and I read about Not guessing. This idea seemed so revolutionary and i've considered both his proposals(eliminating the answer and not having a complete random guess)

Does this strategy really produce results? I mean most tests I narrow the 5 choices down to two and usually the answer is within those two.

Grammatix guide also said something about the high scoring kids using a "reasoning process." Is this process just eliminating choices and choosing the one that sounds best? If so isn't that basically guessing?

Feel free to post your two cents on guessing or not guessing. Even better post your tests with guessing and not guessing.

Question to those high scorers out there( 2350+) what strat do you guys use?

lol i made a thread about this a couple days ago. check it out.
