Hi, I am a Chinese boy which is doubting of choosing Dickinson or FM these days. They are all great school, but I am not sure if they are suit for me. I am not sure what I will choose as my major, maybe sociology at first, but I would still consider other major like Business, economic or others. I really want to join a diverse school, combining more culture and majors, providing me more opportunities. It is free for you guys respond. Thanks a lot!!!
Dickinson has an excellent reputation for its International programs and has an International Business major which could be of interest to you. Franklin & Marshall offers a “Business, Organizations, and Society” major. Neither are traditional business school programs but will offer a cross-disciplinary approach. We know several Dickinson graduates who quickly found work in business in New York City. Generally, both Dickinson and Franklin & Marshall are in smaller towns in Pennsylvania, Franklin & Marshall is probably a little easier to get in and out of for an international student who is traveling, because Lancaster is about an hour from Philadelphia, whereas Dickinson is about 2 hours from Philadelphia and 2 hours from Pittsburgh. Both schools attract hard-working, diligent students.
If you are admitted to other schools, you might post those as well, so people can offer experience/advice.
